How to become water-smart? Community of Practice meeting in Germany
As a part of the European research project B-WaterSmart and thus pursuing the path to a water-smart region, project partner Deutsches Milchkontor GmbH in Edewecht in Germany hosted a Community of Practice meeting for the Living Lab Eastfrisia in their region last week, inviting stakeholders and policy makers to discuss a water-smart future.
Specifically, they talked about how water recycling and digital solutions can contribute to resource conservation and thus to adaptation to climate change. The program also included a strategy workshop on the water-smart region 2050 and a tour of the pilot plant for processing “cow water” (vapor condensate).
