On 26th of September, the Lisbon Municipality (CML), Lisboa E-Nova (LEN), the Environmental Health Institute of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, and the National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC), hosted the conference “Ambientes urbanos e saúde em Lisboa” (Urban environments and health) in Lisbon. The conference with 172 participants was about ongoing initiatives and studies, mainly in Lisbon, about the relation of environmental determinants (temperature, air pollution, waste, exposure to greenery, etc.) regarding human health. Smart-water management was also included in this analysis. It was also an excellent opportunity to promote synergies between B-WaterSmart and the Urban Planning and Design ready for 2030 (UP2030) project.
