Guidelines on Financing CE projects (D4.5)

This report focuses on the financing options for the B-WaterSmart project, which includes six demonstration projects of circular solutions in water management. Financing is crucial for scaling and disseminating these solutions. LLs within the project propose ways to create and distribute value in circular business ecosystems, and a review of green financing options was conducted to support these efforts.

The review examines financing products, services, and instruments for CE projects in the water sector, particularly in Europe. It highlights the importance of economic policies in promoting a circular economy and defines this concept within the water sector, emphasising sustainable water management practices like reuse and recycling. Overall, the report details significant advancements in green financing in the water sector, aiding sustainable development and promoting new business models.
